Welcome back, FFA members! We hope your summer went well! Now it's time to focus on school work and school activities. This year we have A LOT of activities planned and hope you are willing to have fun with them!
*On August 28, we had our first meeting of the new school year. We reviewed our summer activities and signed up for committees. A list of committees are on the next page and on the bulletin board in Mrs. Maxie's room.
*We also discussed the upcoming events in the next year. Here is a list of them for your benefit. Write them down on your calendar at home and in your planner so you don't forget!

ADVISOR'S ADVICE
Welcome back to what promises to be another great year at CHS. I hope you have noticed the changes around the school and appreciate the efforts of the construction workers and school officials who are making this process happen day in and day out. Just keep in mind that we will be rewarded with a beautiful facility in the near future.
*I hope you made it to our first organizational meeting. We only invited past members because we mainly discussed our summer events. Thanks to all of those who gave their time this summer with FFA activities.
*If you haven't paid your $10 dues to me yet, please do so ASAP. I would like each former member to recruit another person to become an FFA member. Inform them of all the opportunities, trips and extra special activities that they have awaiting them if they join. Be a part of the Nation's largest growing youth organization and join today!

TIM'S SPACE IN THE NEWSLETTER
Hello Everyone! How's the new school year going for everyone? I hope well. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that we will still be mailing out the newsletters, so I will need your addresses. If you have moved, please get your address to me ASAP! There is something new I want to do, also. If you could please send me your birth date, there is something special I want to do. Just send them to me via e-mail or just tell me; write it down though! I encourage everyone to go to the Crothersville FFA Website and check it out. So, please get me those address changes and birth dates!

JR. HIGH FFA NEWS
On September 27, the Jr. High held a meeting to elect officers and to sign up for committees. Slate was passed by a majority vote and the officers are as follows:
